Oh no! Can't honor first responders! You have to put up statues of drug thugs like George Floyd and pedophile MS13 gang illegals like Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Then the ACLU and uneducated clueless left wing voters would be ok with it.
If we want a free country we have to stop expecting the federal government to fix things for us. Obviously that applies to the left, but it's quite prevalent on the right too.
In a free country the citizenry is required to be informed and participate. That means term limits happen when we get off our asses and vote them out. That means we take care of our own retirement. That means we actually understand how our government works.
There are plenty of big government policies on the right. And there are plenty of people on the right still asking the federal government to fix some societal ill for us. The government is a tool to build interstates and defend national borders. You can't use the problem as a solution to fix a less than vigilant electorate.
