I know there are likely a lot of folks that were already jealous of your influence and the money you made, prior to sacrificing and committing yourself as deputy director. But they laughed it off, minimized it, and demonized your influence. That was the real thing that extremely set some folk off the rails, they NEVER thought you and Kash would actually ever be their Boss. because they see themselves as superior, but in actuality, deep down, they would not have committed if offered, with the money you had.
