My major garden project—— My old garden, I ripped everything out. Roto tilled it, leveled it out, Took down some of my fence and removed the fence posts. Put down 2 layers of weed block, 2 directions. Got one load of wood chips delivered yesterday, Need 2 loads. Want about 8 inches total. Then I will get 4- 4 ft. x 8 ft. x 2 ft. high raised beds and also build a couple 12' by however long beds. Put them on top of the wood chips.
Other project—— My wood chip compost pile. (separate pile) I'm going to shred up a bunch of leaves, straw and cardboard with my mower. Add some alfalfa pellets too. Put it all on top of my composting wood chips, rototill it all together, water it down and cover it with a tarp. By spring I should have good soil to move over to the raised beds. Really not doing much. Puttering
