Watching Trump here in Oklahoma got me to thinking about something he said. He said if the republicans keep both chambers he will give every adult citizen $5,000.
The first time I heard this I thought why not pay down the debt.
Then I started thinking, everyone complains that we spend too much on foreign countries due to war, helping out, and assisting, but we never do for ourselves.
So now he is offering a one time dividend on your investment in the United States. He wants to give us money for a change.
I’m still not happy at all with the debt, and this will cost about a trillion he said.
But if instead of waisting it on other countries, why not pour it back into the country? It will be spent here and that will help our economy.
A young couple with no chance of a first house because of down payment constraints, just might be able to get that first house. Maybe someone wants to expand or learn something new, higher education, trade school preferably in my book, there you go. Maybe just pay ...
