I hate weakness. Weakness is a choice. And a bad one.
Resilience, and the ability to deal with stress, is a learned behavior. If you isolate yourself from stress you’ll never adapt the skills you need to deal with it.
A weak body and a weak mind are choices. Don’t be weak, it’s for the weak.
Actual interaction I just had at lunch in South Florida in between volleyball games:
Random Lady: “You look familiar.”
Me: “I get that sometimes.”
Random Lady: “Are you on TV?”
Me: “Occasionally.”
Random Lady: “I hope it’s not Fox, they’re terrible.”
Me: “As a matter of fact it is.”
Random Lady: “Well, I never watch that channel.”
Me: “Hope you enjoy your lunch.”
