Is George Thurgood still alive?

Yes — George Thorogood is still alive. He’s seventy-six, born February twenty-fourth, nineteen fifty, and the Destroyers just wrapped a Baddest Show on Earth tour that ran through twenty twenty-five and twenty twenty-six, with a live album dropping in June. He had a serious illness scare back in twenty twenty-three that cancelled a stretch of dates, but he’s been back on stage regularly since. His official site even ran a concert review last month calling him a seventy-six-year-old who “turned back time” on stage. Given how much you like that era of rock, it’d be worth catching him if he swings through Texas again.
