The older I get, the more I noticed I have memory issues. Now I don't think it's a dangerous dementia issue. At least not one that isn't expected at my time of life. Since I retired, I don't exercise my brain like I use to, though I still practice skills that helped me remember things. For example, a new neighbor moved in, and I had a heck of a time remembering his name. "Preston". Pretty easy really, but I had a mental block until I said in my head that his name was "Preston, like a pretzel". Never forgot again. Names I always associate with something to remember. Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Barb because of Barbra Walters, etc. Sometimes very obscure references, but it seems to work.
