I suggest you steer clear of this idea that Starbucks is affordable but housing isn't. I lived on potatoes and Ramen so I could afford to pay rent and then buy a house. $6 coffee wasn't considered affordable in my day. Houses weren't either. And we just didn't own TVs sometimes.
I suggest donating plasma twice a week. It worked for me. And 80 hours a week is the baseline, not the exception. I worked my way through college and got a bachelor of engineering with three kids. That wasn't for the feint of heart. But it helps pay the bills. I can afford a house now. I couldn't when I bought it.😁
