Personally, I don't think Elon is mad about the EV mandate going away. He has said himself it was wasteful and unnecessary. Elon is upset there wasn't more CUTS - cuts that in many cases could NOT be part of this because it was under Reconciliation. Now, if the cuts don't come after - with the recisions like they have promised us - THEN I'll be right beside him making a BIG bitch!
I'm still pissed they didn't give that damn parliamentarian the boot tho.
Regardless of what happens with this Big Beautiful Bill, please get started on a budget bill for next year as the Constitution requires by law, instead of another CR or reconciliation bill. I don't want to see a bunch of performative dick-dances at the last minute.
