There is an old saying that ends up being an oxymoron, " the enemy of my enemy is my friend". This holds true until power is attained. Every socialist revelation ended the same way, one attained power the other was eliminated or exiled. This is the Achilles heel of socialism. Someone is either rational and the other irrational and end their relationship as power is attained. Soviet, Cuban, Maoism all had cohorts seek asylum. Right now the Chinese communist party is the longest surviving socialist governance at 60 plus years. It can easily collapse as Soviets did under Regan.
