I don't have Obamaflix, canceled it the last time they raised prices again. Just too much garbage on there, and after a month or two, you pretty much have watched everything you care about a couple of times. IMHO pay movie services suck. In many cases, you pay a premium AND have to sit through repeating ads. Homey don't pay for services with ads.

Anyway, I've digressed. 🥱

My wife and I have been on a hand full of cruses, Carnival has ALWAYS been a pain in the rear. Something always goes wrong. Mechanical failures, decks full of sick people, entitled Karens, I've seen it all. Now we haven't been on a cruse for more than a decade now, but our best experiences has always been on the Disney Cruse ships (when we took our kids). Now Disney doesn't have these casino decks, which my wife and I didn't care much about. But you have bars, adult areas where the kids couldn't go to (which reminds me of a funny true story).

Once when we took our kids, my youngest boy was 16 or 17 years old at the time (my older kids were in their 20s). He wanted to go swimming, so my two older kids were off doing something I didn't care about, so my wife and I went down to the pool with my youngest son. My wife and I sat at a bar near the pool while he was swimming. Lost track of time, no big deal, he was an older kid and we didn't worry about him. After a couple of drinks, my wife turned and searched the pool for my younger son. He wasn't there. I figured he went back to the room or something. After about a half hour or so, I got up and started looking for him. I'll make a long story short here. Found my youngest son, in a hot tub with two of these older women (retirement age), and the women were grinning ear to ear. I looked at my son and said, "Hey you know you are in the adult area right?" Now I'm grinning ear to ear myself at this point. He gets up and comes toward me and says "I wondered what was going on (with a puzzled look on his face)". As we walked back to the family pool, I started laughing. He said the old ladies seemed a little more friendly than normal. I then informed him that yeah, there were two "cougars" sitting in a hot tub with this nice young fit 17 year old. He gasped and seemed shocked. To this day we laugh about it. Nothing happened, but those women were perfectly happy to share their hot tub with him.

One more funny story, and I'll stop boring you. At night, we went to a Disney movie showing at a theater on the ship. My wife, and two older kids had popcorn and a drink. My younger son comes strutting in a few mins after we sat down with a couple boxes of large pizzas and a drink. He had walked to the all you can eat buffet, and helped himself to two large pizzas before coming into the movie theater. I looked around in shock thinking they were going to boot him out, but they didn't. So he sat there, ate an entire large pizza by himself, and took the other back to the room for a "snack". 😮

But yeah, the Disney cruses were always the most fun. I loved having my kids with us, it was a good time.
