Applying the Bongino rule!
Why it matters: The dispute erupted Wednesday amid the fallout of the administration walking back its claims about Epstein by determining the convicted sex offender didn’t have a celebrity “client list,” and that he wasn’t murdered in his New York City prison cell in 2019.
Bongino didn’t come to work Friday, leading some insiders to believe he had quit. But administration officials say he’s still on the job, even as the internal tension over the Epstein case continues.

Speculation is swirling about Dan resigning due to Bondi’s mishandling of the Epstein files. I’m applying the Bongino rule, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he steps down over ethical concerns, as he’s justifiably done before. Do you think Bondi should resign?
It would be a grave mistake to let Dan resign in disgust. And I don't only say that because I'm a @DBongino fan. President Trump needs to make Dan happy very quickly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I just want to remind everyone here of one of Dan Bongino's rules we should be following. Here specifically, his "48-Hour Rule" that he has asked us to be careful about quite often.
So... Since I have reservations about the "Pam Bondi/Dan Bongino" clash that is being reported, and Dan staying home on Friday. Just read this and tell me what you think.
