By now the majority of you on here know about Jackson Brown Dog, the rescue dog that has run roughshod over our household for the last six years... He's 13 pounds soaking wet but thinks he's a 100 pound Rottweiler... That is until it starts thundering and lightning and the poor little guy just loses it... He has a cage with his favorite "U of F Gator Blanket" in our bedroom that he sleeps in at night... Well it has been storming here in South West Florida all morning and he has been losing it all morning... We try to console him and he just shivers and shakes and lately thinks he can bark at the thunder and scare it away, my ears are bleeding... Of course he didn't voluntarily get in his cage this morning, but Mrs@Gatorgimp out of desporation picked him up and put him in his cage... Well what do you know, he calmed right down... He's not sleeping, but he's as calm as a cucumber... (where did that expression come from?) Who would have thought you could teach these two, two legged old dogs a new trick, but damn if we haven't learned... What we thought was punishment turned out to be his safe haven... Thank you Heavenly Father, but you can turn off the thunder and lightning any ole time... The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a preseason game at Raymond James Stadium today which is right accross the street from Steinbrenner Field, so to avoid too much traffic, my Rays have a homestand Saturday off, right when they got on a roll and have won one in a row... Just one more reason to hate the NFL...🤣🤣🤣 So I guess we'll have to find something else to watch this afternoon when I get up from my nap... Remember when you you didn't want to take naps, what were you thinking??? 🤣🤣🤣 Well as usual, this is cheaper than theropy... Have a great Saurday everybody... Speaking of Saturdays, next Saturday is the start of college football, Go Gators...

My grand daughter is spending the weekend here with us. My wife has taken her to the beach today. I stayed home because the last time I went to the beach with them, I came home with an ear infection. So, I have the house to myself right now.
Peaceful, quiet, until one of the dogs starts barking at zooming space aliens or Bigfoot walking by the house. I never seem to get to the window fast enough to see them. I've been trying for more than a half century to catch a glimpse of a space alien or Bigfoot. As old as I am, I've never seen either. Or, perhaps my crazy dogs just bark to bark. A bird can fart at the window, and they go crazy.
Sitting here listening to some old Pink Floyd. "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", "More", "Meddle", even some more current "The Wall" and "The Dark Side of the Moon".
I'm probably going to raid the fringe, snarf down a bunch of stuff bad for me, ride my skateboard, go bungee jumping, skydiving. Or just stay home and ...
