Call this anal all you want. We are not a democracy. What we are is a form of democracy called " A Constitutional Federalist Republic". In short what does this mean. We are a cooperative confederation of autonomous States under the supervision of a single Federal system. The role of the Federal in our system is to set minimum and maximum standards by common laws. This allows each State the ability to cater to a specific value but not at the cost of another culture or value. The left believes whether they have a slim or super majority they can rule as they please as in a simple democracy. They believe a court ruling is the law of the land rather than the current law doesn't meet standard's .
So why do I bring this up. What Donald Trump is doing is following the founding principles of this country. If the States are not meeting the minimum standard of public safety via sanctuary or no bail he has every right under the constitution to step in. He can as courtesy or if need be Martial law. Having gone through company training in management there was training called progressive discipline, well Trump is using what I call progressive Federalism. So suck on that you liberal human resources directors or Karen's,which ever you like .
