Barry Obama once said that America had 57 states. Wow, we sure grew during his occupation. The real answer is 50, and most American's that ever took an American history class knows that very well. Even so, all he had to do is count the stars on our flag. While we are at it, the stripes on the American flag represent the 13 original colonies that declared independence from Great Britain. There are seven red stripes and six white stripes, alternating to symbolize valor and purity, respectively. As a REAL Boy Scout, I was taught that fact as a young kid. Now I assume the "scouts" count the stripes on the gay flag. Anyway, I digressed... Sorry...
50 states! Yeah! If you were to examine how many letters in the alphabet are in the names of all 50 states, you would find that every letter in the English alphabet is used, with the exception of one letter. There are 26 letters in the alphabet, of those 26, can you tell me which single letter is NOT used in ANY American state name?
