I heard Mamdani quote "Eugene Debs" last night. I wanted to know who Eugene Debs was....
Short answer: Eugene V. Debs (1855–1926) was a major American labor leader and socialist — founder/leader in early industrial-union organizing, a founder of the Socialist Party of America, and a five-time Socialist candidate for U.S. president. He led the American Railway Union and the Pullman Strike (1894), was jailed for defying a federal injunction, later convicted under wartime sedition laws for opposing World War I, and even ran for president from prison.
Why Mamdani quoted him: Debs is a canonical figure for American labor and democratic-socialist politics; his speeches and lines (e.g., about “the dawn of a better day for humanity”) are often invoked by modern progressive and socialist politicians.
I want to take this opportunity to say how amazing Nancy Pelosi was at... Inside trading, raising her wealth in 20 years from a measly 2 million dollars to around 340 million. She was also such a great top notch... Divider of the America people. She was such a great person who went out of her way to... Lie, hate, spew racism, and spit disinformation. I also appreciate how good she was at... Drinking and clattering her false teeth like a freezing cold skeleton who's bones are rattling from the cold. She will also go down in the history books showing her hard and long time work at... Doing absolutely noting useful or good for America.
So in closing, I want to close in recognizing how beautiful a person Nancy Pelosi was.... Compared to a muddy sow with a black eye. And recognize her long amazing career of... Being a crooked lying ugly 💩🤡.
