Modern socialism is nothing more than old money preservation vs new money innovation. For the sake of clarity here's my anology. Old money was the theft of weaker nations and subjects to attain wealth to build an aristocracy based on birthrite. New money is the outliers that come from humble beginnings, outperform the aristocracy and give even the common man wealth beyond aristocracy acceptance. In other words the child out performs the parent.
