From the oath, you can see that you will be defending the Constitution -- not a person. Discipline and accepting orders is sworn to. Finally, you vow to face the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) should any disputes arise.

To take a page from the Democrats, law enforcement you too also have the right to disobey unconstitutional orders of governors and mayor's that practice nullification of existing laws, including but not limited to sanctuary cities and compliance with federal authority.
