"Not being treated as terrorism" - What was this then? IMHO this is what happens when you have soft target areas like airports, schools, etc. Thugs KNOW they can get away with this kind of stupidity. They know no one will be armed.
An armed society is a polite society. I personally go out of my way to avoid soft target locations. I don't go out in this world without being legally armed and practice situational awareness. I haven't flown in more than a decade because of how horrible the travel experience is. From bathing trunks and flip flops and severely under dressed women, flying while sitting in a sardine can with a bunch of uncivilized unclean morons is not enjoyable.
