Good morning Deputy Director Bongino.
‘Tis the day before we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Wishing you and your entire family a Merry Christmas.
Stay safe, stay vigilant, and stay focused.
May the Grace and Peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you and your family.
On a lighter note, my favorite time of day has always been at the first glint of daylight. When it is still dark enough to not be able to make out shapes. Then to sit and watch as it gets lighter, shapes come into vision and birds are waking up. Then watching until the first ray of sunshine comes into view.
Second favorite is watching a good sunset.
In the mornings if it is overcast and raining, it is still nice to watch it get light. When I was younger in northern Michigan, I would like the night in winter when the snow made it light and it is so quiet. Walking in the forest after a good snow fall and seeing the trees covered in snow and how quiet it was except for the sound of a stream flowing.
Take time to enjoy all the beauty God provides day after day at no expense. Even if it is sitting by a window or on your porch.
