@Dbongino What Mamdani described, a "private operator" that answers to the standards the government will set, is exactly fascism.
The fascia of private ownership, with the reality of centralized government control.
When I look at today's Iranian battles I am reminded of one of my favorite movies " Searching for Bobby Fischer". In the finale scene Josh after a move studies the board, in the background his teacher recognizes the mistake. Josh then offers his opponent a draw. This causes his opponent to challenge his decision and look at the board. He responds I have looked at the board take the draw. His opponent then says move. This my friends is where Trump is at with Iran. They made a move he countered and now whatever move Iran makes, Trump ( Josh ) sees what they don't.
