I pray every day that God will help all of us choose what is right and just. I believe that protecting innocent life and respecting the rule of law are essential to the strength of any nation.

When elected officials suggest that decisions of the Supreme Court promote lawlessness, I become concerned about the direction of our country and the possibility of increasing political division. I believe our nation is at its best when disagreements are resolved through the Constitution, the courts, and the democratic process. (not activism and murder that these demontards promote.

History teaches us that organizations such as the Ku Klux Klan brought hatred, violence, and division to America. In my view, extremist movements and ideologies—whether rooted in racial hatred, political violence, religious extremism, or authoritarian systems of government—should be opposed whenever they advocate or engage in violence or seek to undermine the constitutional rights of others.
