Our Father,
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Democrats fight like they believe power is meant to be used. Republicans too often fight like they are afraid of being blamed for using it.
That is why Democrats seem faster. They use pressure. They punish defectors. They move through agencies. They coordinate messaging. They do not care as much about appearing “fair” to people who hate them.
Republicans, on the other hand, often act like winning the election was the accomplishment. It was not. Winning only gives them the chance to act. And too many of them act like they are still in the minority even when voters gave them power.
So yes — The frustration is justified. Not every Republican is weak. Some are real fighters. But the party as a whole has a courage problem, a discipline problem, and a leadership problem. Democrats play offense. Republicans too often play prevent defense and then wonder why they keep losing ground.
