I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July. Never forget what this Country was based on. I listened to Mamdani's speech and almost tossed my cookies......
A Counter-Speech to Zohran Mamdani’s Vision for America
Ladies and gentlemen,
We are watching a dangerous idea walk across America wearing a nice suit and speaking in polished words. It says America is unfair. It says capitalism is evil. It says government should control more, tax more, manage more, promise more, and own more. It says the answer to our problems is not God, family, faith, work, community, and freedom — but government. Well, I reject that vision completely.
America was not founded on socialism. America was not founded on government dependency. America was not founded on politicians promising “free” everything while quietly stealing the freedom of the people. America was founded under God.
Our rights do not come from city hall. They do not come from Congress. They do not come from a mayor, a governor, a president, a judge, or some smooth-talking socialist politician. Our rights come from our Creator. That is the foundation of America.
The Declaration of Independence says we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights. That means those rights are not handed to us by government, and they sure as hell cannot be taken away by government. Life. Liberty. The pursuit of happiness. Not government-controlled happiness. Not government-approved speech. Not government-owned stores. Not government-managed families. Not a government-planned life. Freedom. That is what America was based on.
This country was built by people who believed in God, worked hard, raised families, built churches, defended their communities, fought wars, buried their sons, started businesses, planted fields, opened shops, drove trucks, worked factories, and passed down a belief that America was worth defending. They did not build this nation so future generations could surrender it to socialism. They did not bleed for this country so politicians could replace God with government.
And that is exactly what this ideology tries to do. When you remove God from the center of a nation, something else always takes His place. And usually, that something is government. That is the danger. Socialism does not just attack your wallet. It attacks the soul of a country.
It teaches people to envy instead of work. It teaches dependence instead of responsibility. It teaches resentment instead of gratitude. It teaches people to look to politicians instead of looking to God, family, neighbors, and themselves. It turns citizens into subjects. It turns freedom into permission. It turns blessings into entitlements. And it turns the government into a false god.
That is not America. America was based on faith and freedom. America was based on the belief that a moral people could govern themselves because they answered first to God, not to the state. Our Founders understood something that too many modern politicians have forgotten: if the people lose their moral foundation, freedom cannot survive.
A nation without God does not become more compassionate. It becomes colder. A nation without truth does not become more just. It becomes more controlled. A nation without faith does not become more free. It becomes more dependent on men with power. No government program is your salvation. No socialist promise is worth your freedom.
Mamdani talks about affordability, fairness, rent, groceries, transportation, and childcare. Fine. Americans are struggling. Working families are being crushed. People are tired. People are angry. People are worried about the future. But his answer is the same old left-wing answer: more government control. More taxes. More regulation. More dependency. More bureaucracy. More power taken from the people and handed to the state.
And they always sell it as compassion. But forced dependency is not compassion. Taking from one American to buy the vote of another is not justice. Punishing success is not fairness. Replacing personal responsibility with government control is not kindness. It is bondage with better marketing.
America was never supposed to be a country where the people kneel before government. America was supposed to be a country where government kneels before the Constitution. And the Constitution itself rests on a deeper truth: our rights are God-given, not government-given.
That is why freedom of religion comes first. That is why freedom of speech matters. That is why the right to keep and bear arms matters. That is why private property matters. That is why the family matters. That is why the church matters. That is why local communities matter. Because once government becomes powerful enough to give you everything, it becomes powerful enough to take everything.
That is the damn truth. A government big enough to feed you can starve you. A government big enough to house you can evict you. A government big enough to educate your children can indoctrinate them. A government big enough to control your healthcare can decide your worth. A government big enough to silence “hate” can silence truth. And a government big enough to replace God will eventually demand worship.
We have seen this story before. It never ends with freedom. It ends with control. It ends with fear. It ends with people whispering instead of speaking. It ends with churches pushed aside. It ends with families weakened. It ends with the state deciding what is moral, what is true, what is allowed, and what is forbidden.
That is why Americans must reject this ideology now. Not politely. Not quietly. Not halfway. We must reject it with backbone. This country does not need socialism. This country needs revival. We need a revival of faith. A revival of family. A revival of courage. A revival of truth. A revival of patriotism. A revival of the Constitution. A revival of men and women who are not ashamed to say: this is one nation under God, and we intend to keep it that way.
That does not mean America has been perfect. It has not. But America’s greatness was never that she made no mistakes. America’s greatness was that her founding principles gave her the power to correct those mistakes. Because the answer to injustice was not socialism. The answer was equal protection under the law. The answer to slavery was not government ownership of life. The answer was recognizing the God-given humanity and rights of every person. The answer to poverty is not envy. The answer is opportunity. The answer to corruption is not bigger government. The answer is accountability. The answer to division is not class warfare. The answer is truth, faith, family, and country.
We need leaders who love America. Not leaders who tolerate America. Not leaders who apologize for America. Not leaders who use America’s freedom to condemn America’s foundation. We need leaders who understand that this country was built on Judeo-Christian values, constitutional limits, personal responsibility, and the sacred dignity of the individual.
We need leaders who understand that America is not just land. America is an idea. America is a covenant between generations. It is the farmer kneeling in prayer before sunrise. It is the soldier carrying the flag into battle. It is the mother teaching her children right from wrong. It is the father working until his hands ache so his family can eat. It is the church bells ringing on Sunday morning. It is neighbors helping neighbors without waiting for a government office to tell them how. It is the flag folded over a coffin. It is the national anthem sung with tears in your eyes. It is the belief that freedom is worth sacrifice. And it is the understanding that without God, liberty will not last.
So to Mamdani and every politician selling socialism under a softer name, here is the answer: No. Hell no. You do not get to replace God with government. You do not get to replace freedom with dependency. You do not get to replace the Constitution with ideology. You do not get to replace the American Dream with a government waiting line. You do not get to shame Americans into surrendering the country their fathers and grandfathers built.
We know what you want. You want more control. You want more taxes. You want more dependency. You want more power in the hands of politicians. You want Americans looking upward to government instead of upward to God. But that is not who we are.
We are Americans. We believe our rights come from God. We believe our nation is worth defending. We believe our flag still means something. We believe our Constitution is not outdated. We believe the family is sacred. We believe the church still matters. We believe work has dignity. We believe freedom is better than control. We believe America, with all her flaws, is still the greatest nation God ever allowed man to build.
And we are not giving her up without a fight. Not to socialism. Not to communism. Not to godless government power. Not to politicians who think they know better than the people. This is still America. One nation under God. And if we still have the courage of our Founders, the faith of our grandparents, and the backbone of free men and women, then we will stand, speak, fight, vote, pray, and defend this country until our last breath.
Because we were not born to be managed. We were not born to be ruled. We were not born to bow before government. We were born free. And by the grace of Almighty God, we intend to stay that way.
