Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man most needs to believe.
Believe that people are basically good, and that courage, honor and virtue still matter. Believe that power and money are not worth as much as integrity. Believe that good will ultimately overcome evil, and that true love never completely dies.
Remember that a man should stand by his word, protect those who cannot protect themselves and fight for what is right—even when winning seems impossible. These truths are worth believing, whether every one of them can be proven or not.
A man must decide what principles he will live by, then hold firmly to them. That is what growing into a good man requires.
