Something I just don't understand. How can a POTUS pardon someone for "Future Crimes".

Have a lefty paid to assassinate someone, give him a future pardon, and does he/she get off scot free? I'm amazed these "future pardons" of Brandon aren't being challenged. As moronic as it is, the left have no problem with it as long as it protects one of theirs. Sick sick evil world we live in.
