Naaa, say it ain't so! No one would abuse a 1984 movie like unconstitutional camera system for nefarious and illegal reasons! (sarcasm) It's amusing. An unconstitutional spying system used to illegally spy? The key sentence in the article is: "rapidly growing number of scandals are revealing a much darker side of the surveillance network". These "FLOCK" cameras (The company name), is so unpopular that vigilante justice individuals are taking it upon themselves to destroy as many as they can all across America, and I can't say that I blame them. "Big Brother" is rapidly expanding in our society, and expanding faster than the SCOTUS can rule on them. Pandora's box is opened, and probably can never be contained. Society was sold on it as "It will make you safer". Well I say 🦬💩.

We have camera's in our phones and PC's, all found to be used at one time or another, to illegally spy on historically numerous occasions, including on school provided laptops taking pictures of teens sleeping and exiting their shower (Blake Robbins was a victim at Merion School District in Pennsylvania. He was 15 at the time). The school system was found liable for taking THOUSANDS of unauthorized pictures of students in their bedrooms and homes.

Constantly, people make claims that if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about. Yet, time and time again, these systems are abused and used for nefarious functions on an almost daily basis. Almost everything has a camera. Phones, street traffic lights, cars, trucks, personal TV sets, computers, that clanker delivering food in a rolling cooler, EVERYTHING. Yet society just smiles and waves as they pass these cameras not realizing that those systems have been shown to be abused perpetually for unethical and immoral functions. Most of the time, there is NEVER a court order allowing the spy activity.
