So I was watching an old movie called "Gray Lady Down". It's a 70s movie about a nuclear sub that gets stuck on the bottom of the sea, and the rescue to save them. Lot's of big names, Charlton Heston, David Carradine, Ned Beatty, Christopher Reeve, Ronny Cox.
WOW what a good movie. When I consider the 💩being produced by Hollyweed now days, woke DEI trash, fairy men in tights, it was shocking to see a movie that not only kept your attention, Pro American, and had an amazing ending. Good drama, great action, great acting, amazing special effects (for the time). No fairy characters or unrealistic female "warriors" like you see now days. Replay is a definite as far as I'm concerned. A good mans man movie with realistic strong women characters that would make any man proud. Great American movie! A+ in my opinion. I'm really shocked to see that user reviews are as low as they are. Beats the 💩 out of any movie produced now days. If you like "Gray Lady Down", I recommend "Ice Station Zebra" as well. Good movie.
Hollyweed has lost their imagination, and need to revisit what was produced 50 years ago. Seems they can only remake the same men in tights movie over and over. Sorry, but I consider the comic book movies to be quite boring and eye rolling, and horribly overdone. No wonder hollyweed is struggling. How many little spider boys are there now? Spider girls? Superman, Supergirl, Super dog, etc. 🤣😂 When is the super baby and trans spider furry movie coming out? Hollyweed is a DEI joke now.
I haven't been to the movies in more than 10 years. The last movie I went to see was the "World of Warcraft" movie. I enjoyed that, it was ok. But between the enormous cost to take your family to the movies, and the fact that I pay a premium price, yet still have to sit through ad after ad after ad once in my seat, just makes it not worth going to in my opinion. I've since watched a couple of the comic book movies on my TV, and thank the stars that I didn't waste money to go to the theater to see them.
Ok, I realize I'm old. I get that. But I use to be able to go to the matinee movie for 25 cents on the weekend. Popcorn and candy was probably a couple of bucks more. No ads, only coming movie attractions. It was a great time for Hollyweed consumers.
Today it cost $15 to $25 a ticket, and about $10 for popcorn, about $8 for soda. Costing a single person as much as $40 to $50 to go to the movies. A family of 4 may cost you $200 or more just to go watch a poorly done CGI unknown actors DEI remake of something you watched a dozen times elsewhere in cartoons.
Hollyweed gets an A+ from me on movies pre 1980s, and an F- in the 2020s. In my humble opinion, the cost to go to a theater is absolutely outrageous and not worth the money. I can buy a TV set for the cost to take my family to the movies. Seriously, why would I spend that for 2 hours of ads and a poorly done CGI/DEI movie?
Ok, I've shaken the tree, lets see what falls out. 😁
A Minnesota immigrant who the state government called an "outstanding refugee" --- Lets get this straight. Illegal aliens are not simple immigrants. Either call them "illegal aliens" or "illegal immigrants". Lets not candy coat their federal crimes. Hear that Faux Nuse? Hear that Tampon Tim? Hey Timmy, stop aiding and abetting federal criminals, you stinky butt crack!
