A meaningful new Russia–Iran military-technology development has surfaced.
The Financial Times reports that Russia has been running a covert program, C430L, to help Iran develop supersonic cruise-missile technology, specifically ramjet propulsion that could support anti-ship and land-attack missiles. The investigation says the program began in 2023 and continued into 2026, including during the current U.S.–Iran conflict.

The report says Russia’s state arms exporter Rosoboronexport coordinated the work with NPO Mashinostroyenia, a major Russian missile-design organization, and that senior Russian missile specialists repeatedly traveled to Iran.
