I'm catching up on Life, Liberty. And Levin with his interview of Justice Samuel Alito.
Justice Alito's parents were the immigrants that we should all want. They started a family, appreciative of this Constitutional Republic, and asked for nothing. Justice Alito talks about the hope, emphasizes Reagan's "New Dawn" for this country.
He also has some dissenting views from the late, great Justice Antonin Scalia on how originality wasn't always about the textural form of interpreting our constitution.
He and Justice Clarence Thomas are always talking about merit. His example of the Phillies not breaking the color barrier in their organization failed miserably.
This is all great messages and I have a deep, brotherly love for a man like this. I just wish that he wasn't in the minority to the others on the court. I wish we had more people in government who were not formally educated like Lincoln because Justice Alito made it clear about how our Constitution is our guiding principle.
Justices Kagan, Sotomayor, Barrett, Jackson really make the "New Dawn" feel like the "New Dusk." They have no principles based upon our Constitution, which also happen to be of Judeo-Christian principles.
Justice Alito made clear that us citizens, need to hold our Constitution to heart. He also clearly explained that there was no way our framers could have predicted cell phone traction as a question of privacy or rightful incriminating.
Finally, it is important to know that he doesn't seem too concerned about these media hysterics over Lindsey Clancy, or Cornell 7, or rhe FBI tracking of the shooter. It was clear from his statement that the courts can correct the president when necessary. Right now, the Supreme Court is rightfully staying separate in their powers even though the Birthright Citizenship decision by Roberts is a disaster.
