This is bullshit, I don’t understand how you can be a judge and not follow the law.
- Federal law sets baseline requirements and protections for federal elections (President, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House). For example, only U.S. citizens may vote in federal elections, and federal statutes prohibit non-citizens from voting in those elections.
- State law governs many aspects of election administration, including voter registration procedures, early voting, vote-by-mail rules, voter ID requirements (where applicable), and eligibility rules concerning residency and, in some cases, restoration of voting rights after felony convictions.
