On our 250th birthday as the greatest nation in history — read (or reread) George Washington’s Farewell Address.
It’s not just a goodbye. It’s warnings from the man who won our freedom and then voluntarily gave up power. National unity over faction. Limited government. Suspicion of concentrated power. Stay out of endless foreign entanglements. Cherish the Union like it’s the palladium of your liberty.
On this monumental celebration of America, we need these words more than ever. The Founders gave us the framework. It’s on us to keep it.
It is a stark reminder that the American experiment was never guaranteed to succeed — it requires constant vigilance, self-restraint, and commitment to the framework and principles over factional or personal advantage.
It’s Independence Day. Let’s make damn sure it stays that way — and better! LFG America! 🇺🇸❣️🤍🇺🇲💙🇺🇲

Gene Autry’s Cowboy Code:
Never shoot first, hit a smaller man, or take unfair advantage.
Never break your word or betray a trust.
Always tell the truth.
Be gentle with children, the elderly, and animals.
Do not support racial or religious intolerance.
Help people in distress.
Be a good worker.
Keep yourself clean in thought, speech, action, and personal habits.
Respect women, parents, and the laws of the nation.
Be a patriot.
That’s a pretty solid old-school code: honesty, discipline, faithfulness, respect, hard work, mercy, and love of country.
